I tried it again yesterday…
Walking for hours along the rail fence and just trying to catch a glimpse. She did it again yesterday, waiting until I got home to watch me from the trees. I held eye contact for almost twenty minutes yesterday and she eventually threw me a wave and then disappeared into the trees.
When I was out today I started out along the rail fence and only made it about half a kilometre before coming across a sack hanging from the fence post.
The embroidery on the bag was the same as the embroidery on Barbie’s coat and when I looked inside there was a small black and white kitten.
It looked at me with its huge yellow lantern eyes and let out a little mewling noise.
I looked around, but couldn’t see Barbie anywhere.
I put the kitten in my pocket and brought it home.
It’s asleep in a basket on my table right now.
I refuse to name this cat.
